Timing is everything when it comes to maternity photography, and it's essential to schedule your session at the right time to ensure stunning results.
We suggest that the ideal time for a maternity photoshoot is between 30 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. This is when your baby bump is a lovely size (the one time we can say “the bigger the better” without funny looks!), but you're not too uncomfortable to pose for your photos.
Clients normally reserve their space with us once they have had their 12 week scan.
It's crucial to book your maternity photoshoot early, we only have a limited number of sessions available each month. Booking early ensures that you get your session & the ideal date & time for your photoshoot. This is particularly important if you need to work around you or your partners work schedule - so weekends to tend to book up FAST!

Studio or outdoor photoshoot?
We offer both at Tiny Adventure. If you are thinking of an outdoor sessions, another factor to consider is the weather. If you're planning an outdoor photoshoot, it's best to avoid extreme temperatures and weather conditions. Spring, Summer & autumn are popular seasons for maternity photoshoots because of the pleasant weather and beautiful surroundings. Golden hour is a particular favourite with our clients and photographers.
